Restore Your Smile!

Crowns are used to restore teeth and fully cover the portion of a tooth that is above the gum line. Crowns are made out of porcelain (tooth colored dental ceramic), metal (a gold or other metal alloy), or a combination of both. Other terms that are used to refer to dental crowns are “dental caps” and “tooth caps”.

Dental crowns result in the restoration of teeth using materials which are cemented into place. Dental crowns cap or completely cover a tooth.

Dr. Hudani may recommend placing a crown:

  • to restore a tooth to its original shape
  • to strengthen the tooth
  • to improve the cosmetic appearance

Porcelain Crowns – A Completely Natural Look

Porcelain Crowns, Made of tooth colored dental ceramic, are used to repair damaged   teeth or enhance their appearance. The newest materials such as Lava and Emax crowns are so esthetic that they are virtually indistinguishable from your natural teeth eliminating unsightly black lines around the gum lines.

An Aesthetic Alternative

Veneers are a thin, semi-translucent laminate permanently bonded to your teeth. While they’re not suitable for every patient, veneers are the most aesthetic alternative for a variety of dental conditions involving the front teeth, including:

  • Spaces between teeth
  • Broken or chipped teeth
  • Unsightly, stained or washed out fillings
  • Permanently stained or discolored teeth that can’t be bleached
  • Crooked teeth

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are used to reshape uneven teeth. Veneers improve the aesthetics of a tooth and protect a damaged tooth surface. This method can often times be completed in just two office visits.
